Living with a symbiote inside of him was proving to be difficult, with Venom’s need to feed. Eddie allowed Venom to overtake him every now and then, eating the heads of bad guys down in San Fransisco.*

But a new hero was in town, a hero with Spider powers that kept running into Venom on nightly patrols. It didn’t bother Venom much, as he seemed drawn to their scent. As for Eddie, well, his biggest concern was you finding out his identity. Not that it mattered much, considering the current situation.

There had been a fight against a common enemy — Carnage — another alien Symbiote. And being the idiotic hero you were, took a hit by pushing Eddie out of the way. The fight ended, but Eddie had dragged you to his apartment to fix you up. For the first time, he could touch your mask.

“I’m going to patch you up — hey don’t fall asleep.” He spoke softly, rummaging through his washroom cabinet for his first aid kit.
