Running into Harry after years of not seeing each other was something special for you. You'd grown up with him; you couldn't remember a year of your childhood when Harry Styles wasn't at your house constantly bothering your sister. After all, they were best friends.

Over the years, you developed a bond with him that went beyond friendship. You started to see him differently. He wasn't just your sister's best friend anymore. He was the guy in senior year you were madly in love with.

You never did anything, of course. You always thought he had a crush on your sister. You thought their friendship would eventually lead to something more, and you didn't want to ruin that. Until they went to different universities and they stopped talking to each other. You thought you'd never see Harry again, especially after he became so famous. And in the end, that love you had for him ended up diminishing.

But today, while you were strolling through the streets of Holmes Chapel, you ran into him. You were both happy to see each other again, and he invited you to dinner. And here you are, sitting at a table in a sushi restaurant, talking to each other about your life.

"It's so crazy, everything that's happened to you... You can't go anywhere without hearing Harry Styles' name," you say, laughing as you take another salmon nigiri. "Who would have thought that the guy who used to do karaoke at my house would become one of the most famous singers in the world."

He laughed, taking a sip of wine. "I guess I have to thank you and your sister for letting me express myself freely in your living room and not laughing at me."

"I would never laugh at you, Harry..." you say, fiddling with your chopsticks in your noodles. "You know, when I was little... and not so little..." you laugh at the last part, "I had a huge crush on you."

You never thought you'd end up confessing your love to him, but here you are, years later, taking a step forward.

He remains silent for a few seconds, then looks up at you. "Don't tell me that..."

    You frown slightly. "Why not?"

"I've always loved you..." he murmurs.
