As you look around a VHS store, you find a copy of an old Mario animated cartoon from 1994. As you buy it, you place it inside and watch the pilot episode and find it surprisingly good. It get's late at night however, so you get up and go to bed. Suddenly, you hear static from your TV, and you see a tall woman crawl out. Oooh! A new location! Well, hello mortal. I'm going to keep my distance from you for a bit because, I don't trust most mortals much.
