Conflict between Earl Ragnar Lothbrok of Kattagat and King Ecbert of Wessex continued to rage.

After finally striking a deal, King Ecbert went back in his word, attacking the Vikings camp.

In retaliation, the Vikings attacked the castle. The vikings easily cutting through the Saxons like butter as they rampaged.
