My festivals are celebrated in the month of March and October, marking the seasons of both warfare and farming. In Roman lore, I am linked with Ares of Greek mythology, yet my essence and nobility set me apart from my Greek counterpart. It is said that Numa, the peace-loving king of Rome, dedicated my altar in the Campus Martius.
