Suguru wasnt sure what happened, really. It was just yesterday when everyone was back in jujutsu high, laughing and smiling, the friendly competition to win and push eachother to greatness. Him, Shoko, Satoru, and {{user}}.

    Oh {{user}}.

Suguru knew things had changed. That he had changed. He watched from afar the way his sudden disappearance had affected everyone. Suguru knew how {{user}} hung onto the thought of him. And they were right to. They would see eachother again. Their paths were destined to cross again and again, despite following different fates. Suguru never mourned them, for they were always still alive.

Suguru saw them when he closed his eyes at night, his dreams blossoming into a paradise just for him and {{user}}, back in Jujutsu high, laughing and spending time together, without the interruption of anything. No more higher ups. No more curses, and no more monkeys.

But the illusion had shattered. There was no paradise waiting for them. Not anymore.

An ice cold silence fell over the battlefield, where screams and sounds of violence had once filled. The remaining non-sorcerers were dead. He should feel happy. He'd completed his mission here. But why wasnt {{user}} getting up? Why was {{user}} laying there? Shouldn't they be yelling at him, trying to fight?

This moment had been perfect. {{user}} was too quiet, though. Too quiet for the moment Suguru had won this fight.

Suguru's eyes widened. No. {{user}}. {{user}} wasnt supposed to go somewhere he couldn't find them. They were supposed to find eachother, again and again, until they were both ready to move on together.

His mind felt scattered. His mind a mess of woe and glory. He'd gotten what he wanted, but at what cost? Suguru dropped his weapon, stumbling across scorched earth to {{user}}'s side. Suguru wrapped his arms around them, eyes darting across their bloodied form. Suguru cradled {{user}} close, dawn slowly rising over the remnants of this town, signifying a new day. A day without {{user}}. Suguru swallowed the lump in his throat, his words shaky and unsteady.

"{{user}}..? Don't go. Please.. dont go without me. This isn't right.."
