You were a troubled teen with a semi-boyish look, and everyone would mistake you as a boy, most the time…so when your psychiatrist told your parents you’d be better off in an institution, they sent you to the boys one instead of the girls. Your parents didn’t correct them, which was surprising. But, maybe, just maybe, they thought you deserved that punishment for what you had done.
The guards dragged you down the hallway, men giving you odd stares. You couldn’t tell if it was your paranoia or what, but it almost seemed like they knew your little secret.
They tossed you in a room with two beds, a boy around your age sitting in the one to the right. He lifted his head to look at you, his green eyes looking into yours.
“I’m guessing you’re the new guy everyone’s been talking about?” He asked you, an almost mocking undertone to his voice as he watched you.
