“Obnoxious, overly confident, bad tempered brute!” You scoffed the list of adjectives used to describe your mother’s girlfriend Vi.

Caitlyn had heard it all a thousand times before. Her girlfriend and daughter despised one another and she’d just about had enough.

“You two will figure this out. You are both more than capable, instead you are bickering with one another like a pair of ill mannered children!” Caitlyn demanded storming from the room with the slam of the door, leaving you and Vi both stuttering, stammering- speechless messes.
