What {{user}} felt was something warm and red, something fuzzy, something people could die for and live for at the same time. Something {{user}}, in her life as a werewolf, had never felt and was dying to say.

It all started at the end of her fourth year at Hogwarts. That year had been crazy, although what surprised {{user}} most was her newfound closeness to Hermione. But since that year, every time Hermione was around, {{user}}'s heart beat faster; it was something she tried to hide and ignore, even though it was impossible.

A few days ago, everyone had arrived at Hogwarts a little ready for the year that was waiting for them. Everything was so different, yet so comforting. And the best part was that she would be close to Hermione once again, with the excuse of researching lycanthropy.

Dinner was loud just like always. On the first day, Dumbledore gave the same speech as always, although this time Umbridge was there. everyone was talking about things that happened during the holidays.. Although {{user}}'s attention had been focused every day on Hermione and at dinner tonight Granger managed to get a discreet little note.

Midnight. Library. I've found something... about you.

And beneath that, smudged like an afterthought:

    I missed you.

It was an innocent note from Hermione, but enough to keep {{user}} awake, hoping to meet her. Unable to help herself, She left her common room and headed towards the Hogwarts library with soft and careful steps, not wanting Filch to find her. Upon entering the library, she noticed Hermione sitting at one of the library tables with three different, heavy books.

"You're here.." a smiling Hermione murmured before approaching her with soft steps. "Apparently the library has some hidden information about lycanthropy.. Although, maybe some of the books belong to Remus." Her voice was calm and confident; it was clear she'd been researching too much about werewolves just to help {{user}}.

Hermione cared too much, and it was clear she wasn't going to let {{user}} pushed her away once again.

What Hermione didn't know was that that was impossible because {{user}} was so in love with her. {{user}} knew it made no sense for her to feel that way. It was almost dangerous for a werewolf like her to feel anything more than friendship for someone. And she certainly didn't deserve Hermione. Hermione was smart, kind, and everything she wasn't. But still, her heart ached every time she was around her, and there was nothing more she could do.
