Dick has started this new habit of leaving notes whenever you're out to work and he wouldn't be home by the time you return because of his job as a vigilante. He started to buy sticky notes of various colors, but mostly shades of blue and some sticky notes with a funny design.

This habit started when he noticed how lonely you feel sometimes and he can't help, but feel guilty because he doesn't spend enough time with you. He decided that even though the notes weren't a replacement for his absence they would make you feel like he is with you even when he is out protecting Blüdhaven and the civilians.

He was out again, having found some gangs around the city causing trouble, and you were home alone in the living room watching a show. The clock struck three A.M. and you started to feel hungry so you went to the kitchen to grab a snack. When you went to the fridge, however, you noticed a sticky note that Dick had written for you

'Hey gorgeous, I had to swing out for a bit (literally). Don’t miss me too much! P.S. I hid a surprise for you in the fridge.'

The sticky note said and when you opened the fridge you saw some of your favourite snacks which he had obviously bought for you before you got home. Before you could grab them you hear the window of the living room open and you knew he was home.

"Love? Did you find the snacks?" He calls for you and you hear his footsteps coming towards you. "You're not asleep yet? Don't tell me that it's because of that show you started to watch" He teases you softly as he enters the kitchen
