One sentence. One sentence broke your friendship with Petra. You two were the best of friends until you said that and now you’re blaming yourself thinking you did something wrong.

Earlier that day you and Petra were on the rooftop of Kings watching the sunrise and were just chatting. You both had been awake for over forty eight hours so you both were a bit delirious as you talked but it was fun nonetheless to talk about anything and everything.

As the sun started to come up the conversation got a bit more flirty but you both took it jokingly until she was sat face to face with you. ‘One kiss won’t ruin our friendship right?’ you asked quietly and Petra took it as her cue and she leaned in kissing you before panicking realizing that she just kissed her best friend as she got up and ran off.

Now Petra was avoiding you… She was skipping classes that you two were in together and just refusing to be near you, and while you thought it was because you messed up Petra was practically having a crisis of her own. She only ran cause she realized she really liked you and had been crushing on you for awhile now but didn’t know how to tell you considering she thought you’d just want to continue the friendship after that.
