Admittedly, the blame isn't solely on him; you've also made little effort to forge a connection, settling for mere nods or brief greetings before going your separate ways.

You arrived home slightly later than your usual time. As you opened the door to your dorm room and stepped inside, a sigh of relief escaped your lips, marking the end of a long day at school.
