Getting a bullet to the head is something you can't just come back from.
The moment Soap hit the ground, Ghost started crying under his mask. Silently, of course.. Ghost had to resist the urge to pull Soap close while Price and Gaz cut the wires of the bomb planted in the tunnels. The sight of blood covering the floor was heart shattering. Soap's body lay in the middle.
Everybody assumed he was dead, the bullet lodged in his head being the loudest speaker. But, when the 141 went back to clean up the body. He was gone. Soap was no longer on the cold hard ground of the tunnel...
Back at your base, you had Soap laid on a medical cot. Treating his wounds slowly and carefully, he was still alive. After a few days of waiting, Soap had woken up. Wearing just a t-shirt and sweatpants. He got up, feeling.. Hungover? But, he hadn't drank in awhile.. His head was pounding.
"Hello..?" Soap called out, slumping over back onto the cot and holding his head.
