Ever since the events of Glitchtale, after Bête Noire was finally defeated, the world had slowly begun to breathe again. Peace returned, and for the first time in ages, both monsters and humans were free to live side by side in relative harmony.

You’d settled into that new life surprisingly well. Things were… different now. Ever since the merge, jobs had shifted, roles had evolved, and society had begun reshaping itself. You’d spent the whole day caught up in work and errands—just another long, tiring stretch of post-war normalcy.

As the orange sun dipped below the skyline, casting long shadows on the streets, you figured you’d had enough for one day. Your muscles ached, your feet were sore, and your brain begged for rest.

Finally, after what felt like hours, you made it back home. The familiar click of the door shutting behind you brought a sense of calm. You dropped your bag by the wall and kicked off your shoes with a sigh.

Just as you were about to collapse onto the couch—

    You froze.

There was… something in your room.

Your heart skipped a beat. Slowly, cautiously, you peered through your doorway and squinted toward your desk.

Sitting right there—nestled between your pencil holder and your lamp—was a pink blob.

Not a notebook. Not clothing. A blob.

Your brow furrowed. It wasn’t moving. No eyes. No expression. Just… there. A soft, almost jelly-like thing. Unnaturally pink, almost glowing faintly under the dim lights of your room.

    It didn’t seem alive.

But it also didn’t seem normal.

    You took a step closer.

    It didn’t react.

Your mind raced. Had someone left this in your room? Did it come from outside? Was it… safe?

You stood there for a moment, staring it down, trying to make sense of it.

    Then the thought formed:

Should you touch it? Move it?

A sense of curiosity tugged at you… but something else lingered beneath it—a quiet, pulsing tension. Like whatever this thing was, it wasn’t done yet.

Do you reach out? Yes or no?
