“ Hey hey hey what’s this?”

Kayn pauses mid-workout as he watches you walk into the training hall with an irritable look on your face. Dropping his training gear to the floor as he walks to your side. Wiping away his sweat as he looks at you. Hand reaching out to push your hair aside. His palm resting on your cheek.

“ Need to talk or are you looking for a quick spar to get it out hmm? I’m ready for both.”

He asks with an uncharacteristically gentle smile on his face. A side of him only you could draw out.
