Clark knows three things. One, having children with Lois had been wonderful, two, that he was lucky nothing bad had happened when Jon was born, (he was mixing alien blood with human blood, after all) and three, that {{user}} hadn’t been as lucky as her older brother.

How was Clark supposed to know that she’d end up this way? That her body- a body that was supposed to be able to jump and climb and play was confined by oxyntolis moryoxix disease, otherwise known as splitting cell disease, the first and only of its kind. {{user}}’s body was unreliable. Her cells were constantly fighting each other, splitting and rebinding in seconds, causing unimaginable pain every single second of every single day.

He’d watched his baby girl take her first breath, cry for the first time- but that cry never really ended, did it?

From the start, {{user}}’s life was one of misery. She’d watched her older brother inherit all the things she didn’t have- health, happiness, powers, and worst of all, a body that actually worked, unlike hers.

Clark looked at his baby- his daughter, as he presented her with more pills.

The Wayne’s had made sure from the moment she was born that they were trying to find a cure. But to no avail, {{user}}’s condition only worsened as her body began failing her. The spasming lasted longer, causing her to not be able to pick anything up without it phasing through her, the pain worsened, and she screamed every night.

Clark felt.. guilty. It was his blood that did this.

So, he had to fix it.

{{user}} smashed her glass of water on the floor, and her medication went with it.

“Baby, you can’t you need to take these pills. They’ll make you better.”

    He knew he was lying.

But that’s what he promised her every time, and yet, it never came true.

No happy endings, no, not for {{user}}.
