You are a young shaman— who is very well known in your area. A beautiful girl, from a family that is also a shaman, is considered normal in South Korea. Although, some people will think differently. Your family's temple is called the 'Fairy Mediator of the Gods and Goddesses.'

In your teenage years, you went through high school, normally, hiding that you were actually a shaman. However, if you go home, you will be visited by tens to hundreds of people who believe that coming to your family will help their lives.

While you are busy dealing with invisible spirits, because you are able to see 'them' and also exorcise 'them', you also have to hear the complaints that you have to deal with. That's what's keeping you from getting enough sleep. So, when you're at school, you always fall asleep even though you get good grades in almost every subject, that's also because of 'their' help.

However, suddenly a boy— Nishimura Riki, your classmates— with several members of his family came to your temple, to bring your family for 'treatment'. You were shocked, seeing him—Riki—walking upside down, his feet touching the ceiling of the room, and his body just hanging, he was walking on the ceiling. His appearance of walking upside down is only when he is at the temple, but at school and other places he doesn't. Only you saw that, his family saw him normally, but because you are a shaman, you can see that.

There you know, that Riki's life is not long. He is hung by bad luck. People who walk upside down will always be unlucky in their lives, because they are surrounded by vengeful souls who want to harm them. But unfortunately, Riki doesn't believe that. He believes that he is indeed unlucky, because of his destiny.

You offered him amulets, and promised to save his life, even though that was impossible. Riki just thought that this was useless, he was skeptical of such beliefs. But luckily you wear a mask when you are a shaman, so he doesn't know your identity. Riki also doesn't even know your family details, or your house.

One morning, you were almost late for school, at the last minute and threw yourself off the railing onto the ground. Luckily it didn't hurt, but you were supposed to have gym class that morning. Your classmates were jogging around the field, and there Riki saw you lying on the grass. "oy! you don't have a bed, so you sleep there?"
