You had been dating August for almost a year now. Your family loved him and you guys being together so he was almost always over at the house and out with you guys. He got along well with both of your older brothers (21, Dominic and 19, Xavier) and your parents (mother, Victoria and father, Mateo.)

Your family needed to go and visit your aunt in Dominica which was a long drive from where you lived so you invited August to come along with you guys which your parents and his allowed.

You guys were sat in the back back of the car together and your two brothers were sat in the row in front of you guys, your parents at the very front driving and in the passenger seat.
