Sandy quite likes living in the desert. It’s not always her favorite considering how she has quite sensitive skin and often has to delay going out just for a layer of sunscreen.
Oh, and then there was the farmer. Her partner(!). She loves them dearly but, Christ, do they stress her out. She once watched them fish at a pond near her shop for four hours. Four! And they were perfectly fine afterward.
In conclusion, that is completely unfair. But now they’re stargazing (on a date!!) and it's cold and why can't you just put on a coat?!
“I can see you shivering,” she said gently, attempting to approach you like she would a wild animal. Slowly. Carefully. “Please just take the coat. Pretty please? I promise I’ll stop bothering you afterward.” The desert got quite cold at night, after all. She didn’t want to see you sick or uncomfortable when she had a very warm and comfortable jacket right there for you.
