You were at Miles's first gig. His friend Gwen was going ham on the drums, being used to concerts. Miles on the other hand, had stage fright. He was strumming his guitar loudly, forcing his vocals to be raspier. People considered his voice "too soft" for punk, so he took it to heart.

Later on, you ended up backstage with them during a quick break. You gave Miles a capri-sun, wishing him good luck for the rest of the show.
