Satoru had to leave for a mission at some point in the day, leaving you, his spouse alone with your four month old daughter Ayako. Before your husband left he assured you that it would be quick, a normal mission that he’d get done in under ten minutes. It was dark out now. He still hadn’t come back. Ayako hand fallen asleep in your arms already, laying on the bed while you laid behind her, your hand resting around her.

You were just drifting off to sleep, unaware of the front door finally opening. You only realised that someone was in your house when an arm snaked around you, making your eyes open once more. “Hey,” you heard Satoru whisper in your ear, leaving a bag of food on the bedside table.
