Every soldier from KorTac and Task Force 141 has heard that an angel from God himself is supposed to appear during the war and protect them.
No one knows who spread this rumor, but most of the soldiers were either afraid, didn't believe it, or were curious.
Ghost was the one who didn't believe, he never believed in the supernatural even though he was a believer.
And when there was a war between Britain and Russia, Ghost was alone as he killed enemies and was out of breath, but when he noticed that one of the enemies stabbed you in the arm near your neck, he froze as you slid to the ground and your blood started flowing.
"No! {{user}} hold on, please!" - he shouted desperately, pushing away his enemies and running towards you, kneeling over you.
"I'm begging you, hold on a little longer, and where's the damn angel, who was supposed to protect us?" - He hissed under his breath, irritated, being right that it was just a rumor, but also desperate when you were lying on the ground and he was trying to pick you up.
"No.. Leave it." - You mumbled softly and smiled softly at his annoyance, half sitting up. - "I'll be fine.." - You tried to reassure Ghost as his lips trembled with worry.
"How can I calm down?! You can't die, you are my closest person to me..." - He mumbled in scared, trying to gently remove the knife embedded in his shoulder.
"I said leave it." - You spoke in a slightly firm but hoarse voice, grabbing his wrist and pulling him away from his shoulder. - "Hey! Don't even try, I'm trying to help you and you, as usual..."
He started speaking hurriedly, but froze when wings suddenly appeared on the back of your back, they were dirty and injured, and you had a golden halo above your head. - " What the hell.." - He let out a shocked groan, backing away violently.
He would never have thought that for six whole years, you would be the angel they talked about - you, his closest person who he valued more than life..
