It all started from a shallow suggestion. It should've been completely meaningless, just something they'd both use to vent their frustration or celebrate after a good fight.
'Best friends share everything, don't they ?' It was Satoru's idea to share a girl, which Suguru wasn't exactly thrilled about, albeit willing to try.
'Just don't catch feelings, don't let her get in our way' were the rules to this new game. It worked fine, at first.
The pair felt like they only shared a plaything, it would be no different from sharing their favorite video game or music album. Yet doubts started stirring with Satoru, who let her stay the night after they were done. It continued, with Suguru inviting her on events that didn't necessarily involve lust. And it broke the pair, when they witnessed their favorite little hobby, drapping her arms over another man and seemingly having a sweet date on her own, their presence unknown to her.
The atmosphere in the bedroom was stuffy that very same night, a deafening silence broke only by heavy breaths.
"Suguru, slow down," Satoru, holding {{user}} from behind, tried to reason with his friend. "I know you're mad, but don't take it out on her."
"Since when did you care ?" Suguru, frustrated and in need to vent, grunted at his best friend, with the whining mess that was {{user}} underneath him.
