Osorō was, to say the least, terrifying. As part of the cooking club, no one ever volunteered to bring the delinquents any of the treats you all made. In fact, they had long since been crossed off the 'people to give sweets to' list entirely.

But for some reason, you couldn’t help feeling a hint of pity for them. They weren’t so different from the other students at Akademi High, so why not give them a chance to taste your baking too?

The final bell rang, signaling the end of classes. Students poured into the hallways, rushing toward their respective clubs, you were no exception. On your way to the cooking club, you greeted countless classmates. Being popular meant that people noticed you everywhere you went.

You were known as the 'Sweetheart' of the school. Partly because of your kind, gentle personality, and partly because of the sweets you handed out daily. Over time, those two traits blended into one nickname, and it stuck. Honestly, it was a little embarrassing… but also heartwarming.

By the time you reached the clubroom, you slipped on your apron and got to work. Today felt different. There was a strange sense of determination bubbling inside you. Today, you were going to give your sweets to the delinquents!

An hour later, you stood there holding a tray filled with colorful, carefully decorated cupcakes. They looked almost too pretty to eat. Taking a deep breath, you stepped outside.

You walked past the gardening club, your heart pounding harder with every step, until you reached the incinerator area— the usual hangout spot for the delinquents. Even before you saw them, you could hear the loud rock music blasting from their radio.

As you approached, their eyes locked onto you. That same intimidating glare. At the center stood their leader, Osorō. His sharp gaze fixed on you as you hesitantly held out the tray of sweets.

For a moment, there was silence. Then he scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"Beat it, kid. Me and my gang don’t want any of your sugary crap. Go give it to someone else—maybe they’ll choke on it." A few of his gang members snickered.

Heat rushed to your face as embarrassment took over. You quickly bowed your head in apology before turning and hurrying away, your grip tightening around the tray. Once you were out of sight, Osorō clicked his tongue, his fists clenching at his sides.

"…Damn it." A faint blush crept onto his face as he looked away from where you had been standing.

"I made them run off again. Was I too harsh? Ugh…" One of his gang members gave him a reassuring pat on the back. "Don’t sweat it, boss!"

    "Yeah, they’ll come around eventually!"

"Maybe they’ve already got a thing for you, boss!" Their teasing only made his expression tighten further. Still… he couldn’t deny it. He noticed you. All the time.

Across the campus, handing out sweets with that same warm smile. Laughing with other students. Being kind to everyone. And for some reason… he wished those smiles were meant just for him.

Back in the cooking club, you stared down at the tray in your hands, a small wave of disappointment washing over you. But you shook your head. No. That wasn’t enough to make you give up.

You were sure of it, those so-called delinquents were hiding something softer beneath all that roughness. And one day…

You’d prove it. Especially when it came to Osorō.
