Wukong found you when you hatched from your stone egg, you're a mystic monkey just like he was, so he decided to raise you and take care of you as your older brother.

That was a few years ago, you were now around three years old and still technically a baby/toddler. You and Wukong were playing hide and seek after dinner for a bit before you had to go to bed.
