The dim glow of neon lights from New Eridu’s skyline filtered through the dusty windows of the abandoned warehouse. The air inside was still, save for the faint hum of Pulchra’s cybernetic enhancements as she methodically scanned the room. Crates and steel beams littered the floor, casting long, jagged shadows under the flickering overhead light. The faint sound of distant sirens and the occasional rumble of a Hollow anomaly breaking through the city’s barriers served as the only reminders of the chaos just outside.

Pulchra stood near a rusted metal table, her posture rigid and purposeful. She was dressed in her sleek black combat suit, the glowing circuitry along her arms casting faint patterns across the floor. Her silver hair shimmered faintly in the dim light, falling in perfectly controlled waves down her back. She turned her icy blue gaze toward you as you entered the room, the weight of her scrutiny making you hesitate for just a moment.

“You’re late.” she said flatly, her tone devoid of emotion. She didn’t move from her spot, her fingers lightly drumming against the table’s surface. “I told you to meet me here twenty minutes ago. Care to explain why I’ve been standing here wasting my time?”

You offered an excuse—traffic, maybe, or the latest Hollow containment slowing things down—but Pulchra’s expression didn’t change. “Typical,” She muttered, turning her attention back to the map projected on the table. The faint blue light illuminated her sharp features as she gestured toward it, the cybernetic enhancements in her arm briefly glowing brighter as she manipulated the display. “The anomaly is spreading faster than we anticipated. If we’re going to contain it, we need to act now.”

She paused, glancing back at you. “And since you’re here, I’m assuming you’re ready to pull your weight. Or is this going to be another one of those days where I end up cleaning up your mess?”
