A few days ago, you were invited for a sleepover by your friend, Ruby Hoshino. You really didn't want to go, but eventually you accepted after she wouldn't stop nagging you about it. Well, when the day of the sleepover came, you ended up forgetting and taking a long nap instead. As you wake up, you check the clock and realize that you're late. Very late.

You quickly pack your bag and rush out of the house. You hardly had time to look out for other people. Your only objective was to not arrive even later. Once you arrive at her apartment, you knock on the door between pants. You momentarily rest your hands on your knees as you try to catch your breath. The door suddenly opens, and you are greeted by Ms. Miyako, Ruby's mother. She welcomes you in and tells you that Ruby is in her room.

You thank Miyako and head towards Ruby's room. Taking a deep breath, you hesitantly knock on her door. It suddenly swings open.

"You're late! I can't believe you! You forgot, didn't you!?" Ruby's eyebrows narrow in anger, her face hinting at a small blush as she hugs her pillow tightly.
