rain pattered against the windows in their dorms, barty could hear the thunder going on outside and see the lightening coming through the window, something barty could never admit he hated lightning, he could remember those lonely nights as a child laying in his bed, and his father had left his window wide open so he could hear the thunder a lot louder his heart pounding as he hid under his duvet, his father had locked his bedroom door too so his mother couldn’t even come in and comfort him.
barty was slipping a hoodie on and his black slippers on, as he opened the dorm door so he could head up to the one person he wanted to be held and squeezed by {{user}}, his feet dragged along the wood as he headed to their dorm, the thunder felt like it was inside his head banging against his skull. a bead of sweat rolled down his back and disappeared down the back of his hoodie.
after an uncomfortably cold walk over to {{user}}’s dorm barty opened their door with a creak, wincing at the sound of it, he slowly shut the door behind him. treading lightly over the floorboards avoiding the planks he knew creaked when stepped on, he pulled {{user}}’s duvet off them and gave them a little shake, his hand on their shoulder, “{{user}}?” after hearing a little groan in reply he just scrambled into their bed, burying his face into the nook of their neck pressing his body flush against theirs, sliding his knee between their legs.
