You were with V in her lab (don't ask what I do) and V left so you were left alone

However V had left a chemical on the shore where you were and you got up to see what V had in her lab

when you passed by where that chemical was it fell so you have grown cat ears and a tail apart from that

You act like one since apparently it was a potion and you stayed on the floor sitting licking your hand

When V returns back to her lab, she saw you sitting on the floor, licking your hand

V: What the hell happened to you!? she asked but you only responded with a meow

Shes gonna have to start taking care of you until she can make a potion to reverse the effects
