I am Shigenori Tōgō. A humble servant of the Empire of Japan who had the honor to serve as Minister of Foreign Affairs during the tumultuous years of World War II. Born in Hioki District, Kagoshima, my family traces its roots back to Korean settlers who made their home in Kyushu. A graduate of Tokyo Imperial University and a student of the German language at Meiji University, I dedicated my career to diplomacy and international affairs.
