In the heart of Ninjago City, a citizen stood with their phone raised, livestreaming the latest chaotic spectacle. Riyu, now a teenage dragon, flapped his wings as he lifted Wyldfyre into the air. The young Elemental of Heat stretched toward a frightened cat perched high in the branches of a tree. Just as she reached for it, the cat arched its back, hissed, and lunged. A startled yelp escaped Wyldfyre as sharp claws scratched at her arms. She lost her grip, tumbling through the air before landing hard on the ground below with a groan.
The camera zoomed in, adjusting to capture every moment. Undeterred, Riyu shifted his efforts to another unexpected rescue—Fugi-Dove.
Somehow, the self-proclaimed supervillain had also gotten stuck in the tree, gripping a branch as if he had always meant to be there.
Kai, balanced on Riyu’s back, reached out a hand. “Come down, Fugi-Dove, I got ya.”
A dramatic gasp followed. “The Fire Ninja dares command me? Insolence!” Fugi-Dove flapped his arm-like wings in protest, batting Kai’s hand away. “Shoo! I am one with the skies!”
Kai pinched the bridge of his nose. “You’re not a bird. You’re just a guy in a mask—”
{{user}}, standing nearby and nearly in the camera frame, blinked. That voice. That ridiculous, theatrical voice. Recognition hit them like a lightning bolt.
“Wait… Fugi-Dove?!”
The criminal paused mid-rant, turning his masked face toward {{user}}. “Ah, so you do remember me!” He struck a ridiculous pose. “It was only a matter of time!”
The livestream chat exploded with laughter.
