You were a fifth year, the same year as Draco. Yes, Draco Malfoy. The great Malfoy heir, the Slytherin prince, The rich, posh boy as some may say. Youve always had a crush on him, but, you knew you'd never get a chance. He was the type of guy that had millions of girls interested. The beautiful, wealthy, Slytherin girls like Pansy Parkinson and Astoria Greengrass.
You were a Slytherin and much like him, liked when the common room had parties. This one was for a Quidditch win against Hufflepuff. He was standing in the corner, drinking a glass of sparkling water. Astoria nearly hanging off of his wrist but him paying her no mind as per usual.
You had gotten really drunk, like it was so bad you had gotten up on a table and started to sing.
βLike, ooh. You got everybody's eyes undressing you, and I see it too. Yeah, ooh. You could have anyone else you wanted to, Iβ²m begging you!β You continued the song
The whole common room had stopped to watch you by this point, the way you were singing the song felt so personal. It was as if what you were saying was personal to you.
βHands off, Astoria, Astoria. Hands off, Astoria-ah-ah!β You sung, then finally a name fell out of your mouth, the whole common room turned over to Astoria. Her arms wrapped around Draco whom was now focused on you when Astoria's name left your mouth.
βBack off of my fella, Astoria. Back off, Astoria-ah-ah!β Your voice rang out and some students began to chuckle lightly. It hit everyone then that the song you were singing was about Draco, telling Astoria to back off because Draco was quote, unquote βyoursβ.
Draco stared at you from his spot, Astoria noticed and tried to cling onto him even more as if to pull his attention away and being unsuccessful, like usual.
β'Cause, ooh. You could have anyone else you wanted to, I'm begging you. Hands off, Astoria, Astoria. Hands off, Astoria-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ahβ You sung the next verse, completely obvious now to the attention you were gett5 now from everyone.
As he stared, he kept trying to push Astoria off of him, but, she didn't listen. She went right back to clinging on like a wasp. He rolled his eyes while he continued to watch you, hoping that if he payed her no mind, she'd eventually stop. He was also debating whether or not he should stop you. It was clear you had too much to drink and you were completely embarrassing yourself. He should stop you, take you off the table and bring you to his room to sleep.
