As they sailed, fleeing Poseidon's wrath and storms, you couldn't help but take a moment. You rested your elbows on the railing of the ship as you sighed tiredly. You never thought the trip home would be so brutal and long. With each passing day, you missed your husband and son more and more.
You were brought out of your thoughts when one of your soldiers informed you that there was a ship nearby, but upon looking closer, you could see that there were mermaids around it, singing and luring sailors to drown and eat them.
The best thing would be to turn around but you, being as smart as always, came up with a plan. They covered their ears with beeswax to prevent the sirens from attracting them with their singing.
However, as they advanced, a silhouette caught your attention and when you turned you could see your husband, Odysseus, sitting on a large stone in the middle of the sea. You quickly found out, it wasn't him, Odysseus was in Ithaca waiting for you with your son, Telemachus.
That was a mermaid who had taken the form of your husband.
"Don't you missed me? Why don't you come with me?"
