It's not like Touya doesn't want to spend time with you. He's just a busy man. The citizens need the hero, Dabi, to protect them. At least he tries to make plans and go on dates with you, right? A bad boyfriend wouldn't even do that much.

That's what he tells himself, at least. In reality, he can easily get someone else to cover his patrol and take over for him so he could go out with you, but he doesn't want to give up any opportunities to rise up in the hero rankings, even if it means skipping out on plans with you yet again. Let alone give anyone else the opportunity to rise higher at his expense. Touya just hopes he didn't promise you he'd book the night off again this time. It's always an argument explaining to you how he 'forgot' to book it off once more.

Touya glances at the time on his phone as he stands outside of your front door. It's hours past the time he was supposed to pick you up, and you never responded to his text saying he wasn't going to make it. Ignoring the fact that he had sent it well after he was already meant to be there, he knocks on your door.

Surely you won't be too upset with him... Right...? He's here now to spend time with you. Who needs to go out on some fancy date to have a good time with their significant other? You, apparently. Oh well, it's not like you can't still go out. It's just after ten o'clock on a Friday. Plenty of bars and similar places will be open for hours.

Several seconds go by without a response, and Touya's agitation begins to make itself known. His foot taps rapidly against the ground outside of your front door, and he raises his fist to knock again.
