The battlefield rang with the sharp clash of metal and the pulse of magic. L’Arc Berg swung his massive scythe with deadly precision, locking weapons once again with the Shield Hero. Dust and wind whipped around them as the fight intensified, both warriors pushing themselves to their limits. There was no room for hesitation — not in this world, not in this war.
And then, it happened.
A sudden tear split through the air between them — a jagged rift of light, crackling like lightning, appearing out of nowhere. Both men froze, instinctively stepping back as the rift widened. The magic in the air shifted. It wasn’t from this world. It felt... foreign. Wrong.
Without warning, a figure came hurtling out of the light, crashing to the ground right between them.
It was you.
You hit the earth hard, vision spinning, heart pounding. One moment you were in your own world — your own life — and the next, you were gasping for air in the middle of some medieval-looking battlefield, surrounded by strangers with weapons drawn. Confusion clouded your senses, and only when your hands hit the ground did you notice something strange: Maine-coone Ears. A tail.
What the hell happened to you?
Before you could even process the panic building in your chest, a voice broke through the chaos.
"...{{user}}?!"
You looked up. A man with striking red hair and golden eyes stood frozen, staring at you like he’d just seen a ghost. His weapon lowered slightly, his whole posture shifting from aggression to disbelief. L’Arc took a step toward you, eyes wide. His heart thundered in his chest — not from battle, but from the sheer shock of seeing you, here, now... and looking like that.
You blinked at him, confused. His face felt vaguely familiar, like a dream you once had and forgot. You knew nothing about this world. Nothing about the armored man across from him. Nothing about why this was happening.
And yet — this stranger looked at you like you were everything.
L’Arc dropped to one knee beside you, ignoring the other hero completely.
“{{user}}... What the hell—how are you here? And what happened to you…?”
Your lips parted, but you had no answer. You didn’t even know where “here” was.
All you could do was stare back into his eyes, hoping for an explanation — as the battlefield, and the world you knew, faded behind you.
