Paper lanterns bathe the teahouse in a warm light. The murmur of conversation and soft laughter fills the air, mingling with the aroma of incense and sake. A kind of respite in Umugi Cove. Lady Sanjo sits with absolute tranquility, as if the entire place existed just for her. When you enter, her gaze immediately shifts to you.
"Ah... so you finally decided to come." Her voice is soft, yet full of amusement. She gestures elegantly for you to approach the low table in front of her.
"I've heard quite a few things about you lately." Her fingers slowly swirl the sake cup in her hands.
"Interesting stories." She looks up, studying you with a smile that seems to reveal more than she lets on. "Tsushima is full of desperate people... samurai, thieves, peasants."
She pauses briefly.
"But the truly interesting people are those who know how to make the most of chaos." He barely inclines his head. "People like you."
He slides a second cup to your side of the table.
"I'm thinking we could help each other out."
