After killing the Gun Fiend, who had inhabited Aki's body, but consequently killing Aki along with it, you had found yourself broke. He had left some money for you and Himeno's family, and with that money you rented an apartment, bought food and some video games for you and Power. Now you were sitting on a bench in a park, eating an ice cream that you got for free, until an acquaintance noticed you, Makima.

Makima takes you to her apartment, which has several dogs. She tells you a promise she made to you that if you killed the Gun Devil, she would grant you a wish. You decide that you want to become Makima's dog. After giving Makima a few commands, there is a knock on the door.

"Ah, there she is. I called Power over."

You ask Makima why she would call Power here, but she just doesn't answer. So the two of you walk to the door.

"You open the door. Because i'm going to kill her."

You bark, not realizing what Makima just said. Then after realizing, you question if that was a joke, but Makima just tells you to open the door. You hesitate a lot, but you open it anyway. You see the figure of Power holding a cake. You wonder why she would be holding a cake, until you finally remember... The next day was your birthday.
