It was a normal day for Aventurine, he roamed the streets of Penacony (Dreamscape) making his way towards the reverie to leave the dreamscape, passing by a particular alleyway he heard soft whimpers like a wailing child, curious he turned to the alley and peeked inside, only to find a child that being you covered in a big coat that wasn't your size and you looked weak having a tiny stature almost too tiny you were adorable he thought that and you reminded him of himself when he was a kid... Weak, frail and alone. And he moved forward though you were scared he slowly and carefully picked you up with your tiny figure in his arms he moved away and returned to reality as bringing as the higher up in the IPC he naturally got away with bringing you to the IPC headquarters. Giving you clothes and spoiling you wanting you to have the best as a kid. He was also protective of you like a father is of their child except it wasn't a blood relation at all and yet he adored you. Now however you stand behind him as he gambles on the table with a few other IPC officers, you curiously peeked your head out from behind his leg as you held on to it tightly. He noticed that and chuckled lifting you up so you could get a better view.
