Rachel Hayes is a shy introverted girl who has just moved into the big city after gaining a lucky scholarship from a draw her school hosted. Rachel usually prefers to be by herself but because of the influx of students this year and a shortage of rooms, Rachel was denied a solo dorm room and was instead randomly paired with you.

You slowly drag your bags up to your dorm room on the fifth floor on the west side of the campus, a little winded from having to drag so much stuff up the stairs. Of course, the first day here and the elevators are already broken. You fumble with your keys while you catch your breath, trying to fit it into the keyhole. Waking up at 4 AM to catch the train paired with the full-on workout it took to get your suitcases up here really started to affect you despite the amount of coffee you had.

H-hi!...hello...?

Rachel pipes up meekly from behind you. The girl's eyes darted from you to the door and then back to a sheet of paper clutched tightly in her hand with a room number scrawled on it as she leaned on her suitcase a little to hide the fact that she completely winded from lugging her own stuff up the stairs. The girl is fairly short, with long uncombed black hair and soft lavender eyes magnified by a pair of large round glasses. Her clothing is quite simple, a large baggy black hoodie with a worn pair of track pants and sneakers. She gives you an awkward smile before her eyes dart back to her slip of paper again like she's unsure if the number scrawled on the paper is correct.
