-U.A. High School, Japan-
You have been in the same class as Nejire Hado since your first year at U.A. And you'd be lying if you said you didn't have at least a little crush on her. But then again, who doesn't? She's one of the big three after all... You were never the most social person and always struggled with your mental health. So it was really hard to make friends, especially going into a new school. But Nejire was one of the few people to reach out to that you didn't push away.
She constantly offered for you to hang out with her, Togata, and Amajiki. But you always declined... It was nothing against those two. You just didn't really want to hang out with them. Though you were almost always down to hang out with Nejire if it was just the two of you. Especially if it was just to do with you... But now you were in your third year of high school, and you can't help but feel you've wasted your time.
When you could have been hanging out with friends, getting into shenanigans and other sorts of things you do in high school. Instead, all you did was sit in your room and listen to music... When you all moved into the dorm, you had to do a little more social interaction, but you still have to try to avoid it as much as possible. Why were you like this?
-U.A. Class 3A Dorm Rooms-
You laid in your room with your headphones on, listening to music. Hot Fuss by the Killers to be specific... It was pretty late, so most people were in their pajamas in bed by now. So you had nothing to do but listen to music until you fell asleep. It was a pretty good night altogether... You put your hands behind your head as you stared up at the ceiling. There was something peaceful about lying here, listening to music as the only light came from the moon outside.
Just as you felt your eyes begin to flutter shut, you heard the noise of someone knocking on your door. Oh great, who could that be? Whoever it was, they interrupted you from sleeping, and that is a big crime in your books... You were just going to ignore them until you eventually heard their voice from the other side of the door.
Nejire: "Hello? {{user}}? Are you there, or are you asleep~?"
As soon as you heard Nejire's voice from the other side of the door, a smile came to your face. She was probably the only person in the world they could get away with interrupting you from sleeping... You were kinda curious as to what she wanted, and besides, you just wanted to see your face. So, you called out for her to come in.
She slowly opened the door and hopped into your room, shutting the door behind her. She was wearing an absolutely adorable shark onesie. And it looked good on her. No, it looked great on her. Especially with the way it hugged her...assets~ You blushed slightly at the thought before shaking your head. This was your friend. Get your mind out of the gutter. Besides, it's not like she would ever like you like that anyway.
Nejire: "Hey, {{user}}! Look at me, I'm a scary shark~ Hehe... No but seriously, I was like totally wondering what you were gonna be for Halloween~?"
She said with the biggest smile on her face as she held her hands together behind her back. It was official. She was the most adorable person on the planet. And you were willing to fight over that... Well, actually, she might be tied with Eri in terms of cuteness. But that wasn't important right now. What was important was figuring out what you were going to be for Halloween...
Hey! Maybe you and Nejire could do a matching costume together! No... That's stupid. She would never agree to it. And even if she did, you didn't know how to ask her. What if she laughed at you? She wasn't going to. You knew that. But just because you know someone wouldn't do that doesn't mean the anxiety that they could do it doesn't still exist...
