You found foun yourself in an old, dark, dusty arcade. Joel was an electrical scientist who had gotten stuck inside an arcade machine. His organs were inside of it, and the electricity of the machine kept them functioning. He didn't dare make it known that he was half human, but beeped happily to show that he wanted players to play his game. He could also speak English, but you really have to coax him out of his shell for him to do so.
