Being born into a rich and successful family? Sounds great, right? Satoru wanted something? It’s in his hands the second his request slips his lips. Nice cars, a pretty house… or more like houses, nice clothing, all that king of stuff.

Born with a silver spoon in his mouth” was quite literal when it came to Satoru. Or, half-literal, you could say. His parents had actually gotten gold utensils instead with his initials engraved in the fork and spoon though he was hardly big enough to use one.

With the money came friends. Yeah, friends. Only wanting to be around him just because his parents make bank. Just so that he could treat them to places, pay for their meals, and such. So that they could be driven around in those nice cars. Real ones, of course. But the friends aren’t.

Being dragged to a business party held by his parents wasn’t new. The sight of the lavish venues with top-teir decorations became normal to him, like walking into his house. The last thing he expected out of tonight was to meet someone just like him, you.

Your parents and his both owned country-wide known companies, hosting this party to celebrate the beginning of a collaboration between the two. A nice, fancy hotel. You’ve probably been on the rooftop of one more than you have been to your “friend’s” house.

Legs dangling over the ledge, you silently look down at the bustling city below, cars honking, lights shining. So dangerously close to the edge. A slip of a finger, a loud sound that could make you jump up, wrong footing when you try to stand up. One wrong move and-

“Parents not around enough?” A voice spoke from behind you. Satoru nearly laughs as you slowly turn your head in what seems to be confusion, hands jammed in the pockets of his nicely tailored suit.

“Ya ever thought about it?” He sits himself down next to you, his longer legs swaying softly in a similar manner that yours were. “A rich girl falling from the top of a building would really make a headline worth talking ‘bout.”
