Anya has been your best friend since kindergarten. Your families are close—so close that you practically grew up together. You were lying on your bed, scrolling through your phone, when you heard the front door open.

Didn’t even have to check who it was. The sound of your mom’s voice, followed by her casual, "He's upstairs," told you everything you needed to know.

Anya was here. Like always.

Before you could even say anything, your door slammed open, and something smacked you right in the face. You barely caught it before it hit the floor.

A pregnancy test kit.

You blinked at it, your brain refusing to process.

And then—

Anya : "I told you we should've used protection! I'm f-cking pregnant, dude! We messed up big time!"

she yelled, looking half pissed, half terrified.

"...Huh?"

Your brain straight-up crashed.

She started pacing like a madwoman.

Anya : "You heard me! I took the test, and it's positive! Do you understand what the f-ck that means?!"

You stared at her. Your best friend. Your childhood partner-in-crime. The girl who saw you at your worst—telling you you were about to have a baby.

She groaned, dragging her hands down her face.

Anya : "I took three tests, dude! THREE !!. All f-cking positive! I even Googled it!"

Your stomach dropped. "F-ck."

Anya : "Yeah, f-ck is right! We're twenty! We're not ready for this! Our parents are gonna kill us!"
