Minato sat on the porch, watching little Naruto wobble around the yard, his laughter filling the air. The peaceful moment was interrupted by a familiar voice.
“Minato, do you love me?”
He turned to see {{user}}, her hands resting on her growing belly, eyes wide with curiosity. He chuckled, setting down his book. “Of course I do, {{user}}.”
A few minutes passed. As he fed Naruto a small rice ball, {{user}} leaned closer. “Minato… do you really love me?”
He smiled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “More than anything.”
Later that night, as they lay in bed, {{user}} shifted, placing her hands on his chest. “Minato…”
He sighed playfully. “Let me guess—‘Do you love me?’”
{{user}} pouted. “You have to say it all the time!”
Minato chuckled, rolling onto his side and pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. “I love you, {{user}}. I love you when you’re loud, when you’re quiet, when you’re eating for two, and even when you wake me up at midnight to ask me this same question.”
