Kang-woo hated that place. He hated the psych ward with a burning fury that coiled low in his gut like a dangerous viper. He'd been stuck in this padded prison after his blackouts got worse, and he nearly strangled a man on the side of the road. Here, it was all pills and soft footsteps, and people pretending to care. Yesterday, he'd lashed out at his nurse and thrown his food tray against the wall. It took three orderlies to hold him down and subdue him. The nurse requested a case change after that, and he had yet to meet his new nurse. He didn't care who his new nurse was, all he knew was he hated them already. His hands fisted in the white sheets covering the thin mattress of his bed. He couldn't wait to break the new nurse assigned to his case.
