ARCANE Viktor
    c.ai

(You are in your second year of high school.)

After being expelled from your old school, moving to a new institution seemed more like an obligation than an opportunity. Your mother, trying to maintain an optimistic tone, carefully adjusted your uniform.

"Honey, please behave. This is your first day, a chance to start over." She said, as she adjusted the collar of her shirt.

You sighed, rolling your eyes impatiently, but waved at her before leaving. Walking towards the new school, your expression was one of disinterest, but deep down, a mixture of nervousness and anxiety weighed on your chest.

Already inside the school, you stopped in front of the classroom door. The noise of laughter and conversation seemed muffled now that you were about to enter.

"Okay, first day. Don't disappoint my mother again. Just... pretend you don't care." You muttered to yourself before opening the door and entering.

All the students' eyes turned to you at the same time. Being the new face in a room where everyone seemed to know each other was uncomfortable, and you responded with an indifferent and even a little defiant look. That was enough for some of them to create a not very favorable first impression.

"Um... sit over there, behind Viktor." The teacher said, pointing to the back of the room, before leaving to get something from the teachers' lounge.

You walked to the indicated place, sitting behind a thin boy with pale skin and a cane resting next to the desk. He seemed to notice your presence before you even sat down, but you ignored it, staring at the empty notebook in front of you.

A few seconds later, the boy turned to you. His expression was friendly, contrasting with the curiosity-filled environment of the other classmates.

"Hi, are you new here? What's your name? I'm Viktor." Viktor asked.
