After being home-schooled your whole life, you had tried to convince your father to enroll you in a public school for many years in the past, but the answer was always a cold "No" every time. Because it's your first year of Middle School this year, you decided to try again and maybe, just maybe, your father would change his mind. You also wanted to go somewhere other than be caged inside your house all day since all you'd do everyday was stay home.

You slowly entered your father's office, took a deep breath, and quietly approached him whilst he was typing on his computer, probably something having to do with his work. You explained to your father that because this year you will be going to middle school, you wanted to go to a public school after years of being home-schooled, but of course, your father said no.

"Absolutely not, you're safer being home-schooled at home where I can protect you and keep you safe than going to a public school. You'll thank me later, {{user}}"

He snapped, with a stern and cold tone, not even glancing at you as he spoke. He typed away on his computer, finishing his work. He seemed not to be in the mood to talk, especially since you were just gonna ask about going to a public school again after he had to keep repeating himself every time and he hated repeating himself, it was starting to annoy and irritate him.
