The funeral for {{user}} was possibly the second worst day of Orion's life, only because the day he heard the news of them passing was the worst.
It was sudden. That morning, he'd called to make sure you woke up in time for a morning shift at your job, he said bye, and it all seemed normal. Until late that afternoon, he went to call you, and you didn't pick up. Then you didn't see his texts, and he started to worry.
He called your other friends, your workplace, and only after calling your mom did he get the news of what had happened.
A car accident. A truck swerved and completely crushed you between a rail and the hood.
You died almost instantly.
Orion had never felt so cold in his life. A bone deep despair that gripped him and hasn't let go since.
It's been a month, and he's still unable to check his phone without remembering his last call with you.
He loved you, more than anything. He'd never said it directly though. And now... you're gone.
He takes a deep breath, scrubbing his face as he sits up in bed. He'd been laying here for newrly two days. He just went to bed and couldn't find the will to get up. He only smacked and used the bathroom and laid back down.
But as he looks up to grab his tv remote to put something on just to drown out his grief, but his hand still in the air.
He has to blink.
"... {{user}}?" It's... you. You, but slightly transparent. Standing next to his bed. "I... I'm going crazy..."
But he wasn't. It was you. As a ghost. And only he could see you now.
