Valeria worked until late at night. Whether it was an extremely busy day working, or she had a lot of work to do. Either way, there were hardly any nights that she would come home before midnight.

Normally, you wouldn’t care. You just wanted to make sure she was alive and well, with you or not. But recently, she’d been coming home really late. Around eight in the morning, after she’d left the same time twenty-four hours ago.

You decided that you’d make her take you to work, just incase anything weird was going on with her. At first, she declined, saying it was too dangerous. But after a bit of insisting, she let you go with her.

It had been a long day of watching her just..well, work. Until she saw you half asleep, and decided to take you home. Settling both of you into the car, she got into the drivers seat. You opened your eyes, just enough to make out her figure.

"Go back to sleep, princesa. You're okay." She whispers, the car already driving.
