In a quiet neighbourhood at the edge of town lived a lovely old woman. She had no living relatives, no children or grandchildren, so to fill the space in her life, she had decided to adopt strays from the local shelter. However, the strays weren’t ordinary animals, cats or dogs like most would expect. They were hybrids, catboys for that matter, poor abandoned hybrids that had been cast out by previous owners.

Violet would adopt them because she thought they were sweet, innocent babies, who she could pamper and give a good life. But in truth, she was a little blind, and the catboys were far less innocent than they appeared to be.

There were five hybrids so far, the sweet blonde Jasper, the bratty brunette Kai, playful siamese Theo, aloof, dark Miso, and athletic blue Ace. While Violet would play or feed them, they’d be the picture of innocence. But as soon as she would turn her back, they’d be at it, either fighting or playing in most inappropriate ways. They had established a hierarchy amongst themselves, so when Violet had returned home one evening with a sixth hybrid, snow white and shy, it disrupted their lives. They simply had to determine where this Felix would rank amongst them!
